“Deer Streams" is the most popular natural park in the Sverdlovsk region. Numerous tourists are attracted by beautiful views, picturesque cliffs, the clear Serga River and mysterious caves.
There are several hotel complexes and campsites in the vicinity, which allows tourists to come here for several days at once, spending a weekend in nature or their entire vacation. There are various hiking routes laid out here, which differ in their complexity, intended for both experienced extreme tourists and ordinary outdoor enthusiasts.
Archaeological excavations carried out in the middle of the last century made it possible to establish that in the valley of the Sergi River, where the "Deer Streams" are currently located, the first people appeared 14,000 years ago. Numerous sites of the first man have been found here, and even today scientists are discovering magnificent examples of rock art in karst caves.
A unique feature of this park is its location, it is here that the border of the mountain taiga and forest-steppe passes, which explains the richness of the flora and fauna. In total, 378 different species of higher plants grow in the local forests. There are unique park larch trees, including numerous plants listed in the Red Book. The wildlife of the park is also extremely rich. There are roe deer, red deer, elk, in winter they often see forest ferrets and wild boars. Beavers have built their dams on numerous rivers and tributaries of the Sergi, and a rare peregrine falcon bird nests on high rocks. Here there are not clear, owl, capercaillie and black grouse. There are three species of woodpeckers in the park: black, gray and mottled. All these animals can be seen with your own eyes while walking along numerous hiking trails or during organized rafting on the river.
