One of the most beautiful and clearest lakes of the South Urals
Turgoyak is a large freshwater lake in Chelyabinsk region. Lake Turgoyak is a unique creation of nature. The lake lies at a height of 320 metres at the foot of the Ilmensky ridge in the southern Urals. Turgoyak lake is the lake of tectonic origin.
Turgoyak has one of the most beautiful landscapes. The coastline of the lake is very diverse and has beaches with qarts sand and steep cliffs.
The mountains shelter the lake from the outside world, creating a unique landscape. Double-headed mountain is covered with white quartz and firs, the purest spring White Key flows from it. They say that lake Turgoyak has healing nature. After spending even a few hours on the shore, people start to feel better: fatigue and apathy disappear, having each cell of the body filled with vitality. You can count 10-12 islands in the lake. The largest of them is the Vera Island.
