The festival takes place in the summer, in the Chelyabinsk city (Chelyabinsk region). The festival gathers creative people from all over the region. People sing, dance, sew dresses, weave wreaths, show performances, play different games, forge curiosities for speed and carve beautiful creations out of wood. All this creativity goes, of course, with touch of Ural folklore. Also the festival has special master classes for guests: they are offered to try to sit at the weaving mill or to the potter's wheel. The feature of Bazhovka is the site "Ural settlement" — city with ethnic courtyards. In one they invite to a competition, on the other they play a ceremony, on the third they overeat with Russian national pies, pickles and jams.
